Frank Burger, architect and owner of a/d Amstel architects. a/d Amstel architects is one of few Dutch offices, almost fully dedicated to healtcare projects, The office, established in 1881, has been in the center of Dutch hospital building for decades. Frank was introduced in the office by the former management in 2002, as he was not a hospital architect. Since then, with his colleagues, ("I love hospitals") he attributed to changing hospital building into building sound buildings for healthcare, which is something completely different.
