Skygardens in Seoul and Building for the Next Generation


Over the past years, an increasing amount of architects, urban planners and landscape architects re-explored the relation between health and the built environment. The Healthy City sessions give centre stage to their inspiring views, plans and solutions for a Healthy City. In this session: MVRDV on their prize-winning Skygarden project in Seoul, South Korea (and more 'healthy projects') and Marlies Rohmer on her research into contemporary youth culture and its social context. Rohmer will also reveal some results of her recent What Happened to... study in which she critically reflects on some of her own projects and designs, based on interviews with residents and end users.
